Alarm Overview

A dedicated alarm dashboard showing all active alarms categorised by severity, device type, and a visual heat map. Designed for NOC teams and IT operators who need immediate visibility into the current alarm state across the environment.

Overview

The Alarm Overview dashboard provides a consolidated view of all alarming devices and active alerts across the Cloudmon deployment. It is designed for troubleshooting and operational monitoring, giving teams the information they need to prioritise and respond to incidents quickly.

Navigate to Dashboard → Alarm Overview to access this view.

What it Shows

WidgetWhat it shows
Recent AlarmsAll recently raised alarms in detail, showing alarm description, device name, device IP, and the time the alarm was raised. Use the dropdown icon to filter the list by severity. Clicking an alarm displays a summary of that specific alarm.
Active Alarms by SeverityThe count of currently active alarms grouped by severity level: Critical, Attention, and Trouble. Gives an immediate sense of the overall alarm severity distribution.
Active Alarms by Device TypeThe count of currently active alarms grouped by device type such as laptop, desktop, server, switch, and others. Helps identify if alarms are concentrated on a particular infrastructure category.
Alarm Heat MapA graphical representation of alarm data by colour and group, making it easy to spot which device groups or areas of the environment have the highest alarm density.
Alarms Pending Over 24 HoursAny alarms that have remained open for more than 24 hours without being acknowledged or closed. This highlights chronic or unresolved issues that need escalation.
