Track and analyse Azure spending across your subscriptions. View cost distribution, generate detailed usage reports, and configure alerts to stay within budget.
Azure Cost Management in Cloudmon gives you visibility into spending across all monitored subscriptions from a single view. To get started, navigate to Cloud → Azure → [Select Account] → Cost Management.
Cost Management allows you to:
| Symptom | Likely Cause | Fix |
| Azure spend is unexpectedly high | A specific service or region is driving unexpected costs | Navigate to Cloud → Azure → [Account] → Cost Management and review the Top Spending Services and Top Spending Locations panels |
| No alert received before overspend occurred | Budget threshold alerts are not configured or thresholds are set too high | Go to the Settings tab and configure or tighten threshold alerts to catch future overspend earlier |
| Cost data appears stale or outdated | The next scheduled polling cycle has not yet run | Use the Fetch Data On Demand option in the Settings tab to trigger an immediate cost data refresh |
| Cost and Usage Report shows no data | Cost Management was not selected as a monitored service during Azure account setup | Edit the Azure account from Settings → Monitoring → Probes → Azure and enable Cost Management as a monitored service |
