Geo View Dashboard

Visualise the geographic location of all monitored entities on a world map. Geo View shows agents, probes, network nodes, and network services at their real-world locations, with inactive entities highlighted in red for immediate identification.

Overview

The Geographic (Geo) View dashboard displays the geolocation of all monitored entities including Agents, Probes, Network Nodes, and Network Services on an interactive map. Each entity is represented by a unique icon. Inactive entities are highlighted in red, allowing IT operators to immediately identify which locations are experiencing issues without needing to drill into individual device lists.

Navigate to Dashboard → Geographic View to access this view.

Using Geo View

Use the dropdown in the top right corner of the Geo View dashboard to filter which entity type is displayed on the map. Options include Agents, Probes, Network Nodes, and Network Services. Selecting a specific type focuses the map on that category only.

When you select a probe from the dropdown and click on it in the map, the network topologies discovered by that probe are displayed, giving a view of the physical network layout associated with that probe location.

Clicking on any entity icon on the map opens a summary of that entity including its name, status, and a link to its full detail page in the controller.
