How to Upgrade the Cloudmon Controller and Probes

Upgrade the Cloudmon Controller from the Cloudmon UI, then upgrade each Probe one at a time.

Overview

A Cloudmon upgrade has two parts. First, upgrade the Cloudmon Controller, the core application that runs the Cloudmon UI. Then upgrade each Probe, the agents that collect monitoring data from your network.

Note: Always upgrade the Cloudmon Controller before upgrading any Probe.

Upgrade the Cloudmon Controller

  1. Log in to the Cloudmon UI.
  2. Click the User icon.
  3. Click the Update button next to the Cloudmon version.

Wait for the Cloudmon Controller upgrade to complete before you upgrade the Probes.

Upgrade the Probes

  1. Go to Settings > Monitoring > Probe.
  2. Click the Upgrade icon for the Probe you want to upgrade.
  3. Wait for the upgrade to complete.
  4. Repeat these steps for each remaining Probe.

Note: Click the Upgrade icon only once. Upgrade one Probe at a time, and start the next Probe only after the current upgrade has completed.
