Third Party Integration

SMS

Send Cloudmon alarm notifications as SMS messages to any mobile number. Cloudmon supports Twilio, Custom SMS providers, and Huawei BSS. Once configured, recipients can be added and alarms can be set to notify via SMS when they fire.

Overview

The SMS integration delivers alarm notifications as text messages to configured mobile numbers. Cloudmon supports three SMS provider options: Twilio, Custom (for any SMS gateway that accepts HTTP requests), and Huawei BSS. When an alarm fires and SMS is selected as a third party service, Cloudmon sends a message from the configured provider to the configured recipients.

Note that standard phone carrier charges apply when SMS messages are sent. The recipient's mobile device must also have adequate signal coverage to receive messages.

Step 1: Configure in Cloudmon

  1. Navigate to Settings → General Settings → Integrations.
  2. Locate the SMS widget and click the gear icon.
  3. Select your SMS Provider from the dropdown and fill in the fields as described in the relevant table below.
