User Experience Overview

A consolidated DEM dashboard showing the digital experience of all monitored agents and applications. Visualise performance across agents, applications, and geographic locations in a single view.

Overview

The User Experience Overview dashboard provides comprehensive insights into Digital Experience Monitoring (DEM) data across the entire organisation. It consolidates agent performance, application health, and geographic distribution into a single dashboard, enabling IT teams to quickly identify which users, applications, or locations are experiencing degraded performance.

Navigate to Dashboard → User Experience Overview to access this view. This dashboard requires the Cloudmon agent to be installed on monitored devices and DEM applications to be configured. Refer to Digital Experience Monitoring for setup details.

What it Shows

WidgetWhat it shows
Agents Heat MapA colour-coded heat map of all monitored agent devices showing overall user experience score per device. Clicking an agent opens a detailed summary of that device's performance metrics.
Applications Heat MapA honeycomb view of all monitored applications with each tile coloured by Apdex score. Clicking an application tile opens the consolidated performance view for that application across all associated agents.
Applications SummaryA list of all actively monitored business applications showing Application Name, Agent Count, Apdex Grade, and Processing Time. Clicking an application opens the consolidated user experience view for that application.
Geographical ViewA map showing the physical locations of all DEM agents. Helps correlate performance issues with geographic location, particularly useful for identifying site-specific application degradation.

Consolidated Application View

From the Applications Summary or the Applications Heat Map, click any application to access the Consolidated User Experience view. This view provides a complete picture of user experience metrics for that specific application across all associated agents, including the combined Apdex score, overall processing time, and the 5-Point Analysis across device, LAN, WAN, ISP, and application layers. Clicking on any point in the 5-point analysis shows which users are affected at that hop.

From the consolidated view, select any individual agent to see that agent's detailed breakdown of the application experience.
