Virtualization Monitoring

Monitor your entire virtualization infrastructure from a single platform. Cloudmon provides agent-based monitoring for Hyper-V environments and agentless monitoring for VMware and Nutanix, covering hosts, virtual machines, clusters, datastores, resource pools, and storage containers.

Cloudmon virtualization monitoring gives IT teams real-time visibility into the performance and health of virtual infrastructure. Hyper-V monitoring is agent-based and provides over 70 metrics per host. VMware monitoring is agentless and integrates directly with vCenter and ESXi through native APIs, supporting over 200 metrics across clusters, hosts, VMs, datastores, and resource pools. Nutanix monitoring is agentless and connects to Prism Central or Prism Element through the Nutanix API, covering clusters, hosts, virtual machines, and storage containers, and collecting the alerts and events raised by Prism.

Note: Virtualization monitoring is supported from Cloudmon version 2.7. Hyper-V monitoring requires the Cloudmon agent installed on the Hyper-V server. VMware monitoring requires a Cloudmon probe and VMware credentials configured under Settings → Configurations → Credentials → VMware. Nutanix monitoring requires a Cloudmon probe that can reach Prism on its API port, and a Prism account entered directly on the monitor.
