Cloudmon Pilot System Requirements

The following are the minimum system requirements for setting up the Cloudmon Pilot environment.

Cloudmon Controller And MongoDB Database (7.7+)
CPU: 4 cores
RAM: 32 GB
Storage: At least 500 GB capacity

OS: Ubuntu 22.04 LTS

Network requirements:
Outbound - 22, 587, 27017;
Inbound - 80, 443
Internet access:
i)                https://pro.ip-api.com
ii)               smtp.office365.com (if local SMTP server is not utilized)
iii)              https://repo.veryxtech.com
iv)              Internet access to setup MongoDB as a database.

Note: Make sure your server is NTP synchronized.
Linux Probe
CPU: 4 cores
RAM: 16 GB
 Storage: SSD with minimum 250 GB

 OS: Ubuntu 22.04 LTS

 Network Requirements: 
 • Outbound Ports: 80, 443, 8883 (NetFlow, https://cloud.ntop.org)  
 • Inbound Ports: UDP/2055 (NetFlow), UDP/514 (Syslog), UDP/162 (SNMP Trap)
Internet Access: https://pro.ip-api.com

Note: Required for monitoring AWS or Azure resources

Windows Probe
CPU: 4 cores
RAM: 16 GB
Storage: At least 500 GB capacity

OS: Windows 10+, Windows server 2012+

Network requirements:
i) Admin privileged for probe installation  
ii) Network connectivity to target devices (WMI Devices).
iii) Connectivity to Cloudmon Controller
 
Note: WMI monitoring can be enabled locally on the same Windows server where the Windows probe is installed.
